The Lakshadweep archipelago is coral atoll, the fauna of which is unique. The innumerable multi   coloured   tropical fishes amidst  corals of different   shapes  and sizes is a  sight of everlasting   experience.      With  main objective  of

 exhibiting these varieties under one roof , the marine Aquarium and Museum was established in the year 1983. The museum is arranged with specimens of fisher, corals, shells and other materials in an attractive way.   In the aquarium different varieties of colourful   and beautiful marine ornamental fishes are reared in tanks.  This is a centre of attraction for tourists, students and other dignitaries.
